PinoPoint+™     (19" version)

The PinoPoint+™ is the 'level-up' Pino Solutions power distro that is fully integrable with the Easy Switch upgrade.

The 19" panel (3RU) slots into any existing ADB Eurodim cabinet or any 19" rack configuration such as flight cases or server racks.

The front panel has LED indicators for all phases, neutral detection and Easy Switch Touch Control.

Enabling the Easy Switch Bypass switch makes the PinoPoint+™ function as a stand-alone power distro.

The integrated User Interface (graphic Touch Display) allows you to configure the DMX address and softpatch channels.

The PinoPoint+™ has the possibility to sequentially turn your channels on. A time delay is adjustable to allow for a safe, staggerred start-up. Powering down your rig at night and save energy helps with the energy efficiency and electrical safety of the venue.

The PinoPoint+™ relays will be opened and closed at the zero-crossing point reducing EMI, avoiding high inrush currents, protecting loads, extending life of relay contacts.

The PinoPoint+™ has 12 outlets which are individually protected with RCBO breakers (30mA Earth leakage trip current per channel). Versions available with 10A or 16A , standard C-characteristic (B-curve on request).

The Pino Solutions Easy Switch Touch Controller makes it easy to integrate and control  with an already existing Pino Solutions Easy Switch upgrade.

What is the Easy Power™ Series?

In addition to our Easy Switch upgrade for existing dimmer cabinets and modules, Pino Solutions has developed a new range of products to complement or add even more channels to your exisiting installation.

If you are no longer in need of dimming channels but would like to re-use the existing outlets and wiring, why not consider replacing your dimmer module crates with 19" power distro's which are fully compatible with the Easy Switch Touch Controller.

We have developed two Grrrreat Power Distro's to choose from: PinoPoint™ and PinoPoint+™ (or why not choose both?) and a completely customizable Easy Power Cube™  and Easy Power Kit™.

The PinoPoint+™ is now also available as a 12 or 24 channel Wallmount.

Configurations for Eurodim cabinets

Choose from different possible configurations:

1) Replace all ADB Eurodim dimmer crates with either PinoPoint™, PinoPoint+™ or a combination of both.

2) Hang on to one dimmer crate and replace some circuits with either PinoPoint™ and/or PinoPoint+™

3) Add an Easy Power™ Cube or 19" cabinet with dedicated PinoPoint™ and/or PinoPoint+™ if in need of even more power outlets.

4) Integrate an PinoPoint™ ES version to switch fixed power channels on or off with your Easy Switch Touch Controller if already installed

All depends on how you use your venue and how soon your venue will transition away completely from conventional lighting. Contact us for possible configurations and a quote for your venue.

Main advantages are:

•  Reduction of EMI (Electromagnetic Interference). Because the load is switched when sinus is 0, abrupt voltage spikes do not occur. This minimalizes noise and harmonic distortion on the grid.

•  Avoids high inrush currents. This protects semiconducter relays and reduces component heating, leading to longer service life.

•  Load protection. Devices such as toroidal transformers or capacitors charge more gently, as the sinusoidal voltage build-up does.

•  Higher efficiency. Preventing peaks and heat generation during switching. Voltage across load remains perfectly sinusoidal, improving efficiency of power supplies in connected equipment.

Advantages of zero-cross switching

Zero-crossing switching technology offers significant advantages when switching alternating current (AC) loads, primarily aimed at improving efficiency and extending component lifespan.

This is why the Easy Power™ series only uses real-time zero-detection circuits providing a clean, synchronized signal that eleminates the need for complex timing calculations.
