With the Easy Switch Modbus/DMX (ES Mod/DMX) solution it is possible to swtich to fixed voltage in complete safety without having to park channels (see below).

PS EasySwitch TwinTech - ES Mod/DMX TT

Conversion of ADB TwinTech DimSwitch module 4x3kw* to EASY SWITCH 230 Volt

Contrary to what is stated in the user manual of the ADB TwinTech, current is still sent via a thyristor or Solid State Relay, and this remains phase cut. These are only suitable for an ohmic load. For more explenation about how and why the DimSwitch funciton is not the same as real fixed voltage: take a look at our FAQ page.

What is ES Mod/DMX?

Easy Switch Mod/DMX is the reliable Pino Solutions Touchscreen controller that merges a DMX signal on HTP via Modbus with the existing line to your TwinTech cabinets

When the ES Mod/DMX sends out a signal FF for more than 7 seconds, the Easy Switch switches the relay and this remains active.

This is completely independant of the DMX signal of the lighting desk.  

This has no influence on normal use of your circuits.

So no problems with the patch, parking channels nor panic if someone else loads their show file into your system.
